Master 2 in Civil Engineering at Paris-Saclay University
M2 in Advanced Materials, Structure and Energy for Sustainable Construction
Master 2 in Disciplinary Research
In order to earn their degree from the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay, students must complete a Master 2 program whose topics correspond to those of their DER. It must also be research-oriented.
The following criteria apply to the GCE DER:
- the explicit purpose of the Master 2 program is to prepare students for a doctoral thesis;
- faculty members and researchers participate in the program;
- one or more research laboratories are affiliated with the Master’s 2 program;
- a research internship, supervised by a faculty member or a publishing researcher (academic or R&D) and lasting more than 16 weeks, is included in the program;
- the courses offered are at an advanced scientific level.
Non-exhaustive list of Master’s 2 programs pursued by École Normale students
Here are the Master’s 2 programs that École Normale students from previous years have pursued, categorized by subject area (approximately 1 to 2 students per program per year). This list is not exhaustive, and if a student from the École Normale wishes to pursue a different Master’s 2 program, a discussion is initiated with the DER’s degree program coordinator.
